  • Do you accept insurance?

Our team accepts and is in-network with many dental insurance plans to make your care more accessible. Please note that United Healthcare is only in-network for our pediatric services at The Dental Family Junior and The Dental Family Orthodontics. To confirm if your insurance is accepted, give us a call!

  • What type of financial support or payment plans do you offer?

For financing options, we partner with CareCredit—a popular dental payment plan that allows you to break up the cost of your dental treatment into manageable monthly payments. You can select financing terms of 6, 12, 18, or 24 months, with zero interest on amounts of $200 or more, provided you meet the minimum monthly payments and pay off the full amount by the end of the promotional period. In addition, you can save on your preventative care and our other services when joining our Dental Family Membership Plan.

  • How early should I get to my appointment?

Please arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes prior to the start of your appointment or your child’s appointment.

  • How long does an appointment take?

The length of your appointment or your child’s appointment can vary depending on the type of service or treatment our team is providing.

  • What do I need for my first appointment?

We consider your first appointment the beginning of a lasting relationship, and we’re here to answer any questions and provide any dental patient resources you may need. For your first appointment, please bring any previous X-rays you’ve had taken from other dentists (if applicable), a valid form of ID, a list of medications you take and any health conditions you have, and your dental insurance card (if using insurance).

  • How often do I or my child need a dental checkup?

Typically, we recommend cleanings and checkups at least every six months. But depending on your oral health needs or your child’s oral health needs, we may recommend more frequent visits to ensure your health and well-being.

  • What should my oral hygiene regimen be?

For an ideal oral hygiene routine, brush twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, floss, and rinse with mouthwash for extra freshness. Be sure to keep up on your routine dental visits as well! We’re happy to provide more oral health education and information during your visits.
