Meet Dr. Amanda Baker, DMD

I was born and raised in South Florida. I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida (go Gators!), where I realized my desire to pursue dentistry. I then went on to receive my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. 

I love dentistry for its close patient relationships, and I always strive to touch patients’ lives by growing their confidence, easing their anxieties, removing them from pain, and improving their health. Serving my community has always been an important part of why I became a dentist. I have worked for several charitable organizations throughout my dental journey, such as the Mission of Mercy, which provides free dental care to its patients. I am also passionate about the technical side of dentistry, as I believe in the long-term medical benefits to patients that properly executed dental care can provide. I love keeping up with advancements in the field and strive to ensure that I provide patients with up-to-date treatment plans that incorporate the latest evidence. To ensure my continued education, I am a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the New Jersey Dental Association. 

Outside of dentistry, I enjoy running and going to the gym – I’d love to run in the NYC marathon one day! I also love cooking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family. Despite being born and raised in Florida, I have picked up skiing over the last few years and try to get better every season!
