I love what I do because, to me, dentistry is about building genuine relationships and making a positive impact on people’s lives. My patients are part of my community, and I enjoy helping them live healthy, happy lives.
Education and Continuing Education
I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA, where I was also the Director of Community Service. After that, I pursued dental training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). Before taking over this practice, I practiced clinical dentistry for Rutgers Dental School.
I’m honored to be a member of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society, recognized for my proficiency in dental prosthodontics. Ethics and integrity are cornerstones of my practice, and I was proud to win the American Dental Association’s National Ethics Video Contest during school. I’ve also been awarded the Academy of General Dentistry Leadership Award and the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award.
I am a member of the American Dental Association and have completed over 1,400 hours of continuing education, earning my Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD)—a journey that took me more than 11 years. I’ve also received extensive training in implant dentistry, endodontics (root canals), and oral surgery. Dr. Irene and I are committed to staying current with the latest techniques and technologies to provide our patients with the best possible care.
The part of my work I’m most proud of is placing dental implants non-invasively, using the latest technology available.
In the Practice
I love getting to know my patients on a personal level. They often become friends, and I genuinely look forward to seeing them again. Dentistry is just part of what we connect over—it’s the relationships that matter most.
I’m also known for my corny jokes (which I fully embrace!). I aim to make my patients smile, feel at ease, and know they’re in good hands whenever they visit.
Life Beyond the Dental Chair
I’m originally from Medford, NJ, just outside of Cherry Hill, but for the past few years, my family and I have lived in the Westfield area. My wife and I have three wonderful boys—Spencer, Benji, and Noah—who are the light of our lives. We also have a Bernadoodle named Lola who keeps us on our toes.
My wife and I are big movie buffs and share a love for nutrition and fitness. I feel incredibly fortunate to have completed an Ironman, which involved a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and running a marathon—all in one day! I’m also a Jay Shetty Certified Life and Mindset Coach, which helps me bring a positive, thoughtful approach to both my personal and professional life.
I’m lucky to work alongside my wife every day. We met during dental school and continue to share our passion for dentistry and for life together.
